Strong dogs are usually easy to identify. They are thick with muscle. English bulldogs, Mastiffs, Staffordshire Terriers, also Pit bulls. Many swimming dogs also have a lot of muscle but also layers of fat which help them swim. Newfoundland Hounds, are like this.
