Memorial Park – This 90 acre park features walking trails, a small zoo, wildlife trails and a playground. It has undeveloped land for viewing and features for everyone in the family.
Double Barrelled Cannon – This cannon is one of a kind. It was built at a local foundry during the Civil War to shoot two cannon balls at the same time. Although the weapon did not achieve its desired results, it has been preserved as a relic of the Civil War where visitors come to see this unique weapon.
Lydon House Arts Center – This center is a visual arts hub for the community. It has been restored and expanded. There are large galleries, workshops and a children's wing. There are also events, classes, festivals, a gift shop and perennial garden.
Butts – Mehre Heritage Hall Sports Museum – This is a monument to the University of Georgia sport teams. It has highlights from over 100 years of football. Exhibits include the National Championship and Heismans trophies.
Environment, Natural Science, and Appropriate Technology Center (ENSAT) Center – This center gives education for all ages in science and natural science. Over 11,000 square feet provide information on "green" technology. There are construction techniques, architecture ideas and ways to reduce energy. There are demonstrations and exhibits.
