I Have Heard That Graham Is An Irish Name. Can You Tell Me If It Is ?

Answer Question

I believe that it is actually a Scottish name. However, there are a great many names that became very common in both Scotland and Ireland, so your own genealogy would be important in determining where your name came from. There is a Graham tartan (plaid) from Scotland, however, which would imply to me that it originated from there.
