If its a girl doggy than it would be good to be around a pregnant woman because a female dog would be protective of the woman. Usually girl dogs and human girls bond, i am that way with my dog. Shes my best friend. Like boys are with boy dogs. Boy dogs are also good to be around the woman, they'll protect her in danger same as the girl dog, since she wont be able to fend for herself very well.
