The beauty industry is dishonest in its portrayal of beauty, they do not tell people that they have altered photo's to make models look thinner and more perfect. They promote a style of beauty that 98% of the women or men can ever attain. This encourages unhealthy lifestyles for people trying to live up to the 'image', and causes low self esteem. The fashion industry is more concerned with their clothes 'looking good' than about the health of the people that wear them.
