    The Bromboro Festival (also spelt as the Bromborough Festival) is an annual festival of speech, music, drama and dance. It is the biggest cultural event in the Wirral Peninsula in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral in England. The Wirral Peninsula is located in the county of Merseyside. The county of Merseyside is located in the Northwest of England region. Merseyside is the county which comprises the metropolitan borough of Liverpool and the city of Liverpool, among others.  

    The Bromborough Festival commences in the month of March every year and goes on for about a month, before culminating in the month of April. It has been a part of the social calendar of the town of Bromborough for the last 58 years. It has attracted bigger crowds and more entries every year since its inception in the year 1948. The Bromborough Festival celebrated its silver jubilee anniversary in the year 1973 and its golden jubilee anniversary in the year 1998.
