How Can I Fix My Car's Trouble?
I Have 2001 Chev 1500 4.8l car is cold idles 600 rpm warm idles at 400 rpm when cleaned with throttle body cleaner, it helps idle sometimes but not always. Idle is with air on also has aftermarket volant air box problem was there before air box change.

You will probably need a code reader that can be hooked up to your cars computer for this one. Cars now a day are run by computer and it sounds like your choke is coming on for some reason. The code reader would give you the information you need to answer your question or if you take it to a reputable mechanic they will be able to hook it up and get a reading to solve your problem.
