My Dog Has Been Itching All Weekend. He Has Circular Patches Of Fur Missing And The Spots Are Red.i Thought It Might Be Ring Worm But The Over The Counter Med Doesn't Seem To Be Working, What Should I Do?

It could be worms, or it could be fleas. Unfortunately dogs can only reach certain places, and this means it may be in the general area, but not specifically where the irritation is. It could also be from overheating, a cause often overlooked. Bathe your dog in warm salt water, this will help the skin and ease the itch.

It sounds like hot spots you can put hydrocortizn cream on it and give him some benadryle.if not any better in a few day he might need a cortizone shot.

It definitely sounds like hot spots, you can go to your local pet store and get "Sulfodene"  douse a cotton ball with it and dab it on the bald spot and the hair around it.  IF that don't work, I suggest a vet as it could be a vitamin deficiency as well.  Good-Luck.
