The county of Carmarthenshire lies in South-Western Wales; it is a region of beautiful scenery and pristine nature where the Welsh culture and history is distinctly apparent all making the region a popular tourist destination. The major tourist attractions are among others The National Botanic Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Hall and Gardens and of course the numerous beaches and castles that dot the countryside.

The county is well known for its outdoor culture and love of sports with Rugby, which is a traditional sport here, and football being the favorite especially in the county's main town Llanelli; it is accessible by rail, road and air with most of the routes connected to the city of Swansea. So for all you nature lovers Carmarthenshire is a real treat where one can enjoy the remote and tranquil atmosphere while indulging in one's favorite outdoor activity.
