How Are Concept Keyboards Different?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The phrase concept keyboard is used to define the keyboard of a computer of which the key are labelled. They can be pre-set to perform certain specific function. For example, if you go to a restaurant in the United Kingdom, you will see a concept keyboard at the cash counter. If you order a pie from the restaurant, the cashier would probably press the key which has the code or a symbol for a pie and hand you over a bill.

It is also used in many stores in the United Kingdom and some other countries of the world to speed up the service to the customers. They do so by making the orders quicker and easier to take. A concept keyboard could also be useful in schools for children with learning disabilities (such as dyslexia) and in centres for the disabled.
