Where Is Meon Valley, Southampton?

    Meon Valley is a new seat being created by merging a large part of the old constituency of Winchester, smaller parts of Havant and East Hampshire well before the elections to be held in 2009-2010. It is located in the south center of England to the north of Southampton.

    Meon Valley has an electorate of or an adult population of around sixty eight thousand five hundred. The perspective candidate for the conservatives, who are currently tipped to win the seat at the next election by around 2090 votes, is Mr. George Hollingbery. He is a successful businessman and an oxford graduate.

    Most of the county is rural and the seat is considered an affluent one. Some of the local attractions worth seeing include the Marwell Zoo, Beaulieu and Paultons Park. Theres even a Meon Valley Marriot Hotel and Country Club located at Shedfield, Southampton.
