A Veterniary Surgeon is a surgeon for Animals and just like a normal surgeon, he has to complete a specific degree. You need to complete your GCSE with Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Then you take admission in a Veterinary School. The choice of a good Veterinary school depends on the grades you get so the try for the best grades. It takes 5 years to complete the degree. Then you have to specialize in animal surgery to become a Veterinary Surgeon.

I have just become a registered veteinary sergon (2009), and from what i have done, you will need to get GCSE grades C and above in english, maths but for biology, chemistry and physics, you will need to get grade B or above. Also, in collage you need to get to a veteinary collage, then specifie the sergon bit
    best of luck
try myerscough collages i went there and its ace

You need at least 5 A-C Gcse grades; english, maths and the 3 sciences. However it is better for you of course to get higher grades, there is a lot of competition. Dont worry about the gcse grades too much however, they mainly look at your Alevels

Well you need straight A's to get a definate place in a good collage like Royal Veterinary Collage (R V C)or 2 A's and 1 B because the main subjects needed are biology and chemistry and one subject of your choice preferably maths or english

p.s. All of this has been answered by an 11 year old girl but dont worry i go on the definate website all the time so it is all right what i said bye x x
