He's saying he wants to be with me but he don't think it will work and it wound be complicated coz off his family, coz his family don't like his mum don't want to be in my son life

If I were you I would move on if he says he wants to be with you but doesn;t think it will work out then he is obviously not willing to put the effort into the relationship. As far as his mom being part of your sons life if she wants to be great if not it's her loss. I don;t think his mom is the problem I think he is the problem, if he will not put in the effort then you are just wasting your time.
