Answer Question

Today, the country of India is faced with water pollution. This is due to the rapid growth of industry that India has recently experienced. The facilities to treat water waste in most cities in India are not adequate to handle the amount of water pollution that is produced by the rapid industrial growth. Only about 10% of the water in India is treated for pollution and as a result, the contaminated water can enter into a person's house. The contaminated water can contain disease-causing microbes and cause one to become deathly ill.  The water is not safe to drink in India.

Also, the contaminated water runs off into lakes and rivers and makes fish and other wildlife infected with disease-causing microbes.  This kills off the wildlife and stops reproduction. In turn, this could cause harm or damage to the Indian food supply.

Water pollution in India makes the water unsuitable for drinking, cooking, recreational activities, and Industry. Water Pollution is a major problem in India.
