Is It Legal For An Employer To Pay An Employee Mileage From Home To The Work Site And Back Again?
I am in Illinois and supervise staff that had an agreement with the previous manager to get mileage reimbursement from home to work and back. I thought that was illegal. I thought you could only pay mileage from one work site to another work site.

This is legal if it is mentioned in the contract of employment that employee mileage from home to work site should be given by employers and it is legal as well.

Not at all , if it is in the company policy, the company can pay employer mileage from home to the work site. It is not illegal at all.
