Do I need to apply for a visitor visa here in the Philippines to Visit London for a couple of days during my trip to Paris?

Yes you need a separate visa for UK, because UK is not a Schengen country. It is quite obvious that you have to apply for visitor visa here in Manila at the British Embassy to visit UK, otherwise you may not be allowed to visit England. For more info click here.
