I won't lie to you. Withdrawing from Oxycontin is bad. But if you are detox from abusing the drug know that if you just stop with this drug is dangerous. If your Dr is taking the med from you he will wean you down. You need to wean down before actually stopping. You will have sweats,shakiness,possible seizures,hallucinations,paranoia,resp., difficulty,racing of the heart, vomiting,diarrhea are to mention a few. If you are coming off this drug thats great but wean yourself down not all at once.

Either wean off of it, get in a Methadone(or Suboxone) treatment center or check yourself into a detox/rehab facility.
