Where Is Goulburn, NSW?

    Goulburn basically is a regional cathedral city situated in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia based in the Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
    It is positioned approximately 190 kilometers south west of Sydney. It is also known as "Australia's first inland city".

    The city is located off the Hume Highway in the southern section of New South Wales amid Mittagong and Yass. Goulburn is a division of the customary land of the Gandangara people. The Goulburn Correctional Center is also based in Goulburn, and is said to be one of the maximum-security male prisons of Australia.  

    This region was established in the year 1833. The current population of this region is said to be 25,000. At the moment Goulburn is facing drought conditions, and it last rained here in the year 2004.
