My 10 Day Old Kittens Eye Was Shut And When I Got It Open A White Discharge Came Out. What Could This Be?
His eye was stuck closed. So I used warm water and a towel to loosen the eye. When it started to open a white pus came out.

Kittens eyes continue to develop and are supposed to remain closed until 14 days... You always need to research before you act.
Hopefully no harm was done... Just leave them alone, and let them open in their own time.

It is very common for kittens to get infections in their eyes soon after they open. (it may get scratched by a hungry sibling) The eye seals itself shut from the discharge and can be gently cleaned with warm water on a cotton ball. If the infection does not improve you can get some erythromicin opthalmic ointment from your vet. This will take care of the problem quickly.
