Yes, it depends on the cumulative amount of consumption.  ETG has a fairly low half life (2 to 3 hrs) and is water soluble, however the amount in the body is cumulative.  ETG levels peak around 4 hrs after maximum BAC and then decline expontially after that.  So if one beer or around 10 grams of alcohol was consumed it the corresponding ETG could be metabolized below 100 ng in 24 hours.  3 beers in under It has been sexy to say that the test can test up to 80 hrs or 5 days, however this is only in extreme cases.  We need only worry about the time after complete absorbtion of alcohol, because this is when the ETG levels will peak; and then will be eliminated from the body at a half life of ~3 hrs.  

Probably not...although the actual substance of alcohol is passed out of your system via urine, sweat, vomit, etc in 24 hours, it still leaves metabolites. Same reason any other drug can be detected while you are not actually high off it. It's like residue...there doesn't actually need to be alcohol in your blood. That's why it can be detected up to 80 hours (or in some cases 96...depending on how serious the test it) after consumption...they are not testing to see if there is alcohol currently in your blood, making you  "drunk" for all intensive purposes. They are looking for the residue. Of course, this i all in simple terms because I don't understand the chemistry myself. But i have passed and failed EtG's.

You can not pass an etg test 24 hours later. Traces of alcohol can show up 3-5 days max on this kind of test. On an old school test (dip stick) yea you can use the thumb of rule for drinking..an hour for every drink.

It all depends on your metabolism. I've drank two beers the day before and passed an ETG. If you weigh three hundred pounds and eat twinkies all day then no. However, if you're healthy and exercise and don't consume an unhealthy amount of alcohol then you MIGHT pass. No guarantees though. Yes it is possible... Here is what you have to do. Take a small piece of toilet paper or a half layer of paper towel and tear a little peace of it off, about an square inch. Then take it and dip it into some clorox bleach ( I know it sounds crazy but that small amount wont hurt you, if you follow these instructions) after soaking the piece with bleach, roll the square into a ball and squeeze it, to release some of the clorox from it so it is not drenched with clorox, but has enough on it to work. Then you want to have a large glass of water ready. Take the clorox ball, and immediately drink the glass of water, as if you were taking a pill. Drink the whole glass of water pretty quick. Then pour 2 more glasses of water and drink them right after. You do this about 1-2 hours before taking the urine test. Continue drinking water until you have to pee. You want to pee 1 good time before you take the test and let the 2nd or 3rd time you pee be the one that you test with. I have been doing this for years , it ALWAYS has worked for me. This works especially for marijuana. Cocaine, and alcohol. Like a charm. Or u know, you could always just not do any drugs, that always works, maybe its time you realize that its time to get serious and stop being so immature and freakin let some 15 minute high ruin your life when you could be someone in life.

Yes you can, let me preface this by saying i dont condone trying what I did, but it worked for me,  Depending on the levels they are testing for, yes it can be passed.  I took an ETG-500 test 13 hours after having 6 beers and 1/2 pint of jack daniels.  I stopped drinking approx 11pm. I got a call for a random test (though it really wasnt supposed to be until following week, my attny was prepared to argue that if needed)  I got up at 8 am, between 8am and 10am I consumed about 1.25 gallons of water. I also consumed 2 multivitamins and about 45mg of creatine during that time...  Between 10-12:00 I consumed another 3/4 gallon of water.  At 12pm I took another 15mg of creatine and another multivitamin, and approx 20oz bottle of diet mountain dew to try to get color and creatine levels up if it was tested.  B4 i went into lab i took left index finger and quick poke in the backside (yes it is gross) wiped it off a bit with napkin and went in.  When i urinated into the cup my left index finger was over the stream of urine.  I put just enough urine to go above the temp strip.  I  got negative result 2 days later.  I researched from the bits and pieces off the net and hoped it would work.  The 1st part of the morning was trying to dilute the ETG, according to certain lab reports it can be diluted. I read that they test etg/creatin levels so hence the creatine with the water.  The mutli's and soda for the color, and the urine over the index finger because some reports state the e-coli(from feces) can break down ETG levels (supposedly doesnt work if you are getting ETG/ETS test though)  My testing wasnt for any major offense, so i dont know the extent of what the lab will test for (etg/creatine levels, etc) but didnt want to chance it.  I dont know my levels so if it was etg 100 or etg 250 cutoffs it might now have passed.   Best of luck if you need the info, hopefully just staying away from the alcohol will cause much less stress, but if you are tricked into a different timeframe that you were told it would be, than it might be worth the effort..I ama 200lb male and in good physical condition.  Lastly the creatine loading did cause me body to swell because of water retention, and I did pee about 10 time that day, likely the urine sample had some color to it, because the rest of the night was completely clear.

Alcohol is passed through the body very quickly. In 24 hours, it will be out of your system.
