How Long Does The WHOLE Procedure Take For D&C?
As soon as you step in the hospital or clinic, just how long does everything take , that includes the D&C, Preparation, Recovery, Papers to Sign, Tests, Ultrasound, all of that, whoever has had a D&C could you please tell me how long it usually takes for everything, 3-4 hours maybe more ?? My girlfriend is having one today and she's with her mom, I'm worried that it's taking so long, but I'm not sure how long it's supposed to take, so someone please help. Thank you.

As for as only the procedure of D & C is concerned, it will not take more than 20-30 minutes. Some doctors admit the patient few hours before procedure and discharge after few hours of D & C. If doctor have to treat only your girlfriend then all procedure can take 8-10 hours.
