Can You Write Some Useful Aspects Of Microorganisms?

There are many useful aspects of microorganisms. Under natural condition, they have the capability to convert raw material into end products, which are a value for humans. Some of the benefits of microorganisms are given as:
a) Microorganisms are used for production of yogurt, cheese, pickles, beer and wine.
b) A number of antibiotics are obtained from some microorganisms for treatment of diseases. Penicillin is produced by a species of the fungus Penicillium. Streptomycin and tetracycline are produced by different species of streptomycin.
c) They are used in the production of vaccines. Vaccines are used to immunize people against diseases. For example, there are vaccines against cholera, typhoid, measles, tuberculosis and other disease.

d) Some of the microorganism produces vitamin B12 which is used for treating anemia and as a food and feed supplement.
e) Microorganism increases the fertility of the soil by converting atmospheric nitrogen compounds which can be used by plants for their growth.
f) They decompose dead organic matter and convert int into nutrients. They are used in sewage treatment plans to decompose the sewage.
g) They are used to obtain enzymes which destroy proteins. They are used in leather industry for treatment of hides to produce leather with fine texture and grain.
h) Some of the bacteria are made to produce such hormones as human insulin which is used in treatment of diabetes.
