I am going on vacation in a little over a month. I have an 11 year old daughter with Spina Bifida and we are trying to make getting down to the beach easier for the whole family. I am trying to find a place to rent a beach wheelchair for a few days but I am not having any luck. Does anyone know of a place?

I'm a DAV and from Florida and would only guess you are looking for a motorized wheel chair. An Daytona is the only beach south of The Florida GATORS, UF, you would even be able to use a wheel chair or drag one. And 4 wheelers are not allowed on any beaches. To be handicapped on any beach but Daytona would be very difficult to say the least. And one day VA will most likely put me in one, too!
So I'm trying! Use a search engine to find the chair. The beach is the problem.
