I detest both, but if I have to, I will eat the salad.

Macaroni and cheese. But I don't like it if there is too much cheese. I like cheese in cheeseburgers, and in other meals only if I don't taste too much cheese. A little weird... :)

Any and all of it except when they put a certain spice in it at the store (macaroni salad). baked macaroni and cheese is heaven !

I HATE macaroni salad. I LOVE macaroni and cheese. Homemade macaroni and cheese. Yum. Nice and creamy with buttery crunchy crumbs on top.

What is the "buttery crunchy crumbs" for the top of macaroni?
The buttery crunchy crumbs on top can be whatever you have on hand. Actual bread crumbs tossed with melted butter and sprinkled on top. But i have used crushed goldfish crackers, ritz crackers, whatever I have around. At christmas I used festive green and red crushed goldfish crackers on top and totally mystified everyone as to what it was on top. It was all I had!
You detest macaroni?!! Your just full of surprises tiggy. I love mac and cheese and while I have never heard of mac and salad, I'm still going to have to choose my beloved mac and cheese.
