No, the moon is a natural satellite.
In order for something to technically be considered a planet (as outlined by the International Astronomy Union), it must orbit a star. While the moon meets practically all of the other requirements for it to be considered a planet, the moon doesn't orbit a star. Instead it orbits Earth, which is a planet.

The Moon is Earth's only natural satellite. It is the fifth largest satellite in the Solar System. Moon is neither a star not a Planet. It is only one of the natural satellites that orbit different planets.

The International Astronomy Union considers the moon as a satalite not a planet, but in some sense it can be considered as a planet for more than one reason. First of all it is quite large relative to earth. It is 1/3 the size of earth and has an atmosphere. Even though its atmosphere is small, it is still there. In my eyes and to the eyes of astronomers, and space object with a good size and shape is a planet, that includes the moon. Other Moon/Planets: Io, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto, Titan, other large moons, Pluto, Hamea, Makemake, Eris. Thats about it, so basically despite what the International Astronomy Union says, the moon is a planet.

No its a natural satellite, these things are usually called "moon" wehter it be for earth or some other planet. So basicaly our "moon" doesn't have a unique name for itself.
