OH OK. I just asked a question about why the appearance of the page just changed :) Well it looks good, but I have yet to get used to it.
I looks more organized, better maintained and more user friendly. though I cannot say anything for sure yet, as I have not explored it yet.
We definitely were in the need of a new look. But personally I feel I new look is not enough. We need some new features too. I did mention some in my answer to another question which was about suggestions for improving the site. I would like to mention some of them over here again:
1. Publicly viewable profiles: Members should have the option to let their profiles be viewable by other members
2. Profiles should be a little more detailed maybe, but it should be upto the member what they want to share and vice versa.
3. Members should have the option of contacting each other through private messages or comments.
4. A chat option can be added to
5. However, if all these features are added, then members should have the option of ignoring and blocking other members too.
On the whole, the new look appears nice. I am off to explore it a little now

I think the new look of the Blurtit website is informative and attractive. There are a lot of new features. Also it is much clearer to read. For instance, if you would like to review questions and answers you've contributed in the past, you can just go to your control panel.
The questions and answers are more spaced out on the page than before, so it is easy to review your activity and see if there have been any new answers to your questions. Also, there are a lot of new graphics, that makes the website interesting to the eye.
In short, the new look of Blurt it is more user friendly. Every day, there is more knowledge stored into the database of Blurtit answers, so the website accrues more and more information as time goes on. Searching for answers on both common and less well-known topics can be a bit addictive!

The new design looks good, much better than the old design. I have opened a question for suggestions (What changes would you like to see to Blurtit?) so any suggestions please add them there.
We are working on lots of new features to make the site better, but please more suggestions.

I just realized you can view public profiles too. Now all you need to do is add a "Contact this person" link :) That would fun. Blurtit will be more interactive.
Also another thing that can be changed is the rule of not allowing copy and paste. There are certain things for which it can be allowed. For example, if a certain person asks for lyrics of a certain song, the person who is answering does not have an option other than to give the original lyrics. Of course he or she cannot change the original lyrics and reproduce them in his or her own words. I mean the criteria should be a little relaxed. No need to compromise on the quality of answers but rationally speaking, some answers do not require these rules in order to be good.
An alternate rule can be to give proper reference for our answers. For example if we are taking exact text from somewhere, we should cite the exact reference next to it. Even for text that is in our own words but the subject matter is taken from somewhere else, it would be nice to refer to the original work. This will help in giving credit to the original writer

It looks good, I do have a few concerns:
1) The "Welcome to BlurtIt" Email needs to be fixed with VALID HTML PHP Code so the page looks properly when sent to webmail users.
(Contact me and I will help you fix it)
2) The server is VERY Slow to load and may look like it is down to a Web Crawler.
3) I like the feedback option on the site.

Thanks for your feedback, I agree the server is slow to load and the emails should be formatted correctly. Both these issues are in hand, but please if you continue to experience these problems please report them to support@blurtit.com or use the feedback page. And thank you for your offer to help fix the HTML emails, if we can't resolve the issue then we'll be in touch.
I like the old one but with just a little bit modification.

I would like to add something.
Previously there used to be a link, in fact two separate links that appeared under the main link of "My Answers". One of them was "My approved answers' and the other one was "pending answers".
The same goes for the MY questions link.
those have disappeared. Or am I unable to find them?
Those were quite useful and if you have removed them I would request you to but them back on. Rather you can add four separate sub links under the main "my questions" and "my answers" links.. these can be:
i. My approved questions / or answers
ii. My pre approved questions / or answers
iii. My pending questions / or answers
iv. My disapproved questions/ or answers
I hope you do take notice of this suggestion. It will prove to be helpful for all of us blurters.

I like the new-fangled look very much. It's easy on the eye. The whole thing has a much slicker look. I'm still exploring the various new features.

It's really good and user friendly.
I think it's a great improvement and it knocks spots off other question and answer sites.
I like the look of it and the easy way it can be navigated.
The idea of images is a good introduction if people want to use it, although many people don't like having their picture on the web.
It would be good if there was a quick response when abusive messages are reported and reports of misuse as these questions can waste time and effort for all those who take the time to reply as has seemly happened today.
I would also like to see the number of words for answers re-introduced. This seems to only be visible on the section where you pose and answer your own questions and answers. it's sometimes difficult to gauge the word count of some replies.
It's also time consuming scrolling through a long list of unanswered questions, could this section be improved at all?
Overall it's great and really nice to use.

Well well, the new blurtit look is pretty nice and it also gives a cool look. I think the oldie look was too outdated and it seemed as if the site wasn't having any special things in it, but this new look gives a feeling of exploring it more. It seems to be well organized and manageable.
Previously the site had a boring and outdated type of look, but I think with this new changed and better look blurtit's look and approach is changed, people will more likely to explore and try to take interest in it.
The site can also be more updated, but I think this first step towards change is an excellent one, and I await to see more user friendly and supportive options. I will really appreciate the new look and I think there should be more progressive steps taken. Blurtit can increase the number of the categories and sub categories, it should also establish a chat option so that the users can communicate with each others about different problems faced during accessing the site. The site should also allow the users to view profiles of other users so that interested and relevant people can contact each other.
But overall I love this new look, it rocks, its happening and it makes me to take more interest in the Blurtit.

Hi, it looks new, curious, has a lot of programs and looks nice. Though I am not quite used to it yet, I welcome the innovation done to the site and I think it looks really promising.

I really like it. I was a little lost till I started looking around and found everything I wanted to find. It was fairly easy to locate everything. I like the new look. Keep up the good work.
