What Is A Diorama?

    The word diorama is defined as a scenic representation in which the figures are sculpted and all the details of these figures which are sculpted are displayed in the form of lifelike representations. Diorama refers to a collection of life-size exhibits of various specimens of wildlife or scenes which have a realistic depiction of their natural surroundings and which have painted backgrounds.

    Diorama refers to a scene which has been replicated in the three-dimensional format, which is abbreviated as the 3D format. It is a scene in which figures, stuffed wild animals and other objects are depicted and arranged in a thematic setting. The diorama is set against a background which is either painted or decorated.

    The term diorama is used to refer to an instructional strategy, which is defined as a technique which is usually used to design or illustrate the set for a dance or a theatrical production.
