What Is The Connection Between The Heart And Lungs?

Answer Question

3 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

The lungs take in air, which via the principle of osmosis is passed into the blood which the heart pumps around the body. The blood carries vital oxygen from the air (the oxygen molecules are attached to the haemoglobin in the blood to form oxyhaemoglobin) to all the body's cells

They are the means for which the rest of the body relies to function and survive. Without them you would not be alive. The processing of oxygen and the rejuvenation of the blood by the oxygen enrichment from the lungs are the means of powering the body.
