There are pros and cons to rebuying in a Multi Table Tournament. You can not win the prize if you are out of the game, and a rebuy brings you back into play immediately so you don't have to wait for another tournament to begin. However, you only want to rebuy if it is going to be beneficial. If you find you have to rebuy several times then you may be playing out of your league. Work out how much you have spent against what the potential payout is at the bottom end of the scale to see if it is worthwhile.

Rebuy tournaments also encourage very aggressive play. Players will go all in to try and double or treble their chips, safe in the knowledge that they can rebuy if they make a mistake. The loose, aggressive play can be very overwhelming for the player lacking in experience. The rebuy tournament does not usually play the usual poker strategy until the players reach the money. To win you must be aggressive and determined. If you do not enjoy this type of play, choose a different type of tournament; do not be tricked into rebuying if you are virtually guaranteed to lose.
