A pyramid is any 3d object whose faces are triangular, except the base. The base is usually square in shape, but it can be any polygon. If you are making a square pyramid, its base and length would be equal, (make it around 1 feet, or as long as you want to make). For 1 feet^2 base, average height would be 0.5 feet.
