Hispanics fared very badly. Especially in 20s and 30s. The 2nd Klan was on the rise, and lynching was rampant.
On the West Coast, Hispanic boys were regularly beaten up by "patriotic" police officers and servicemen, even during World War 2.
At least, this is what history says.
