Do You Know How I Can Shrink Pictures?

Most photo editing software has the ability to resize the photo, you may also want to crop the picture to remove any unnecessary background of the picture. Look for the resize option in you photo editing software.

You can resize or crop thru one of your own programs. Paint, Ibanview, etc. Ifyour running windows xp, dbl click your pic, and crop thru wondow viewer. If you are trying to upload to our personal blurtit page, it will only hold so many pixels. That is one reason you may only load .jpg files. Open your pic thru "Paint". Go to File, choose "Save as". When the box opens 1st will be file name. 2nd will be file type. Choose .jpg, .jpeg,. Close out. You will now have 2 copies of that pic. Use the copy with the .jpg extension to upload.

There are a number of websites that allow you to resize pictures online.   All you need to do is type "resize picture online" in google.  I did that and here is one of the websites that came up: www.resize2mail.com    You can "upload" the picture, change it's size and then save it to your hard drive.  Remember to "rename" it something different, in case you don't like the size you change it to.  This will give you another opportunity to change the size without destroying your original picture or graphic.
