I'd have to say it's probably the first amendment.  It spells out our civil liberties.  Freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of speech, the right to peaceful assembly, and the right to petition the government for the redress or reparation of grievances.  Those rights are pretty important to us.

In my opinion, the Sixth Amendment is the most valuable because this Amendment covers all the areas of the accused, from being arrested to the sentencing of the accused. According to The 'Lectric Law Library, the Sixth Amendment reads like this:
"In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial…… This Amendment also, states that the accused should-
v     be made aware of charges against them
v     the rights to cross examine witnesses
v      provide his or her own witnesses
v      have representation in his or her defense
To me this is one of the most valuable Constitutional rights an accused person could have. All other areas of trial or the criminal justices' process seem to fall in with this Amendment.

The Second Amendment is the most important amendment and the one that the far left wants desperately want to do away with.  This amendment gives the average American the ultimate power to change the Government.  If the Government becomes a tyranny, the Second Amendment is in place so that the citizens of a free country can overthrow that Government by force.

Depends on your country and your personal view. In Ireland, amending the Articles on the family to allow divorce in 1995 is pretty seminal.

Definitely the 14th amendment! It is my favorite because if you took everything else out of the constitution you would have all those rights!
