What Is The Weight Of A Snow Leopard?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

In usual circumstances the weight of an adult snow-leopard is about seventy-five kilograms and if we talk of the other features with which you can recognize the animal it include a quite long tail. The reason behind nature providing the animal a long tail is that the tail helps it to balance its body on the rugged terrain and also on the unstable surfaces where its habitat is. The tail also work as a cover to provide the animal the required warmth and with the help of it, the animal can cover its nose and mouth when the climatic condition is too cold.

When it comes to the distinction between a male snow-leopard and a female one you will find that the head of a male is quite squarer and a bit wider too than that of a female.
