I Need Help With Bmx Brakes! How Do You Put On Bmx Brakes?

How do you put on bmx brakes? I got a new bmx but the handle bars are the ones that spin right around and i dont know how to put them on cause in the user booklet it don't help at all lol. Help please :D

    You usually have to feed them into the stem, this will channel them so they do not get tangled when you spin the bars. Look for a hole thats the same size as the cable.

    Alternatively some have "special" cables called BMX or Gyro cables that fit slightly differently.

      It sounds like you have a Gyro system. Gyro systems work using two sets of disks on ball bearings. You should have two sets of cables. The brake cable attached to the brake lever should have a small metal ball at the end. One you've got the actual brake lever on the bars, put the cable into the notch on the side of the top disk closest to the brake lever. (repeat for other side). Next, you must set up the back brake and do the same thing. I know this is probably hard to understand but if you still have trouble you can take it to a local bike shop and they can do it for you.
