I Have A 11 Months Top Poodle And A 6 Months Maltese, I Want To Breed Them To Have Babies, Is This A Good Idea? And How Should I Go About It?

Well it is upto you entirely if you want to do it. But do keep in mind that the puppies you will get will not be pure breeds. So if you wish to enter them in dog shows or contests it wont be possible. I suggest that you call up some of your relatives or friends and see if they have the same breed of dog that you are looking for, this way you will get pure bred puppies. Furthermore as to your question as how to go about it, I suggest when your female dog is in heat or ready for breeding leave the two dogs together in a cage for a few days. Do keep an eye on them if they mate or not. Furthermore make sure that the there is a large space for them to roam around in and get comfortable. Hope this helps.
