Would There Be Companies That Hire Part Time Fashion Designers?
I loved sketching designs of apparels, my friends also say that they were nice, but I don't know much about fabrics and pattern making, so I've been thinking that would there be companies who would be willing to buy my design sketches? I really dream that someday I would see people wearing the clothes & pants I designed. Please help me, thanks!

I advise every free lancer to get a diploma or degree of some sort in their area of interest. This is because no matter how good you are at designing and sketching, when it comes to hiring, someone with a solid degree will be preferred because he would know the tricks of the trade. Like you said you don't know much about fabrics etc which is one of your negative points. So I suggest first of all you get a diploma in fashion designing or do a short course on weekends. Meanwhile work on your portfolio and try learning about designs and fabrics through books and Internet. Coming to the next step. Yes there are plenty of companies out there who want to hire part-time fashion designers. Do not worry about that. At this point in time start working on improving your skills and qualification, you would get plenty of opportunities. Best of Luck!!
