If possible I would first contact the person accusing you and try to talk with them in a calm reasonable matter and see why they are accusing you of doing these things.
After that I would see what they are planning to do about this accusation. To simple say that you did these thing is one thing, but if they are taking legal actions, then you will have to employ a lawyer to defend you. Both charges are serious and it could make a difference in the rest of you life if you are not found innocent of these charges.
If this is the result of a relationship break up, then maybe you can reason with this person. My son-in-law just went to court today for wrong charges of stealing a camera his mother had bought him for his birthday. The judge threw it out
