Hey there. Don't panic. This sounds pretty normal.
When you have your period it can take a while for the blood to leave your body. For the first day or two - especially if you have a light flow - you may only see some light spotting.
When you wipe yourself after having been to the toilet you will find that quite a bit of blood will come away. This is because the blood is a little thicker and won't always drip onto the pad. The wiping motion, with the extra pressure will wipe it away.
If you are worried that the blood was in your urine then you should go to see a doctor immediately. This could be a sign of an infection like cystitis - which is easily treatable.
Some women's periods run like clockwork but others don't. You may bleed a lot one day and not at all for another. You might bleed for three days while others do for six. It can take a long time for your body to settle in. If you are worried you should speak to your mum, a girl friend and of course your doctor.
