Science disputes that the world was made in six days.
It took millions of years of evolution for all forms of life to evolve.
It isn't possible that the world could have been created in such a short time.
Dinosaurs lived on earth far longer than human beings have been in existence. There were a number of factors linked to the extinction of these creatures, though some smaller forms of their species do exist now as their very distant descendants.
You really need to get acquainted with some literature on evolution and the earths formation. If you look at fossils and geology it's obvious that the earth underwent millions of years of change before we reached the stage we are at now. Please try to open your mind to other theories before dismissing them.

I'm an archaeologist and there's alot we can tell about the age of the world and the earths layers. While I don't want to knock what people believe there's no way the earth could have been made in 6 days. Looking at fossils and the earths layers tell us alot about what sequences life evoloved in and approximately how long it took. Good luck as you find out more. If you can look at the Bible as a history book and story book in some ways and combine this with what we know know with modern science that might help. Don't forget the Bible was written to help explain what was happening in societies where they didn't have our modern knowledge. There are many very good Chrisitans who really can't accept that the world was made in 6 days. I hope you get alot from learning. Do you live near Dublin? If so go and have a look at the museum there and get some information about fossil remains and archaeology, it'll help you alot.

I have come to the conclusion that the Bible uses 'day' as a picture word which actually means 'about ten million years.'I know now that the earth couldnt have been made in just six of our days-it is talking about a very long time when it says day.so God did make the world in six days-but six of a long time which HE calls day, not six of ours.I am going to the mueseum again soon I went recently and it was fun.
Scientists are wrong - if the world was over 5.1 million years old the earth would be very hot and we would all die because of the earth's atmosphere. And dinosaurs lived with Adam (the first man) he named them and they were his friends. Scientists believe in evolution they would change their theory but they is no other theory except God created the world.
