Regulations about selling products which have contact with the skin vary from country to country and indeed some local bye-laws may be in force and all sorts of issues need to be taken into account. For example insurance, are you properly insured if your product aggravates someone's skin and they sue you for damages, are you going to be making the product at home and would this affect your mortgage? And so on

It may be worth talking to your local council/town hall and seeking their advice as to how best you can proceed and ensure that their environmental health people are happy that your products are produced in a safe, clean environment.

With regard to insurance and other such issues, your local Chamber of Trade or Chamber of Commerce should be able to point you in the right direction for specific advice. Banks also have some business advisers who may be able to give you some financial advice.
