Are There Unsecured Loans Even With Fair Credit?
I am trying to improve my credit so I can purchase a home. My credit score is 585 which they tell me is fair. I need to borrow 11,000 to help me re-build my credit.

Yes you can get unsecured loans practically in any circumstances. Lenders tend to charge a higher rate than a secured loan however - even if you do have fair credit.
This is because whilst your credit rating is good, there is still no proof that you will pay the loan back. Obviously you have a better chance of being approved for an unsecured loan if you have fair credit rather than if you have poor credit, but there is still no security for the lender.
Your best option is to search online for unsecured loans in your area. You will be presented with a long list of results and you should compare as many of them as possible. This will help you to get a good idea of what the interest rates are and how mcuh money you could save.
