How To Cook Ribs?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Cooking of ribs requires prior preparation and one night before you are to cook, it you should make a combination of spices and rub them on it. The spices include garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, brown sugar, paprika and white pepper. After rubbing the spices you will have to wrap the rib in Saran wrap and refrigerate it overnight.

One hour prior to start cooking, you should take it out from the refrigerator and heat in an oven at the temperature of 275 degree Fahrenheit. In four hours your favourite food is almost ready.

Then what is required to do is to mop the ribs with the help of apple juice and oil and you can apply sauce of your choice twenty minutes before eating.

If I'm not using my grill I generally like to rub them in spices, let them sit for an hour or so, and put in a baking dish large enough and cover with aluminum foil and bake until done.

You can check them and see if they are done by using your thermometer.  160 is good for pork as that is well done.

If you chose the correct spices, you do not need to bathe them in anything.  I just offer a side of sauce on the side.

      Good luck,
