    The theories of Crime help in giving criminal justice which is based on a particular theory.
    There are about thirteen criminal theories out of which three are 'mainstream' theories.
    The oldest theory has been developed in the year 1876 which is known as biochemistry.

    The cases involving allergy, hormonal imbalance and brain dysfunction falls under the theory of biochemistry and those patients are treated in isolation. Theory of Psychology
    advices counseling and treatment. Ecology, Strain, Control, Learning, Labeling, Conflict, Radical, Left Realism, Peacemaking, Feminist and Postmodern are the rest of the theories which promotes by replacing the current legal system.

    A crime is an act of violating the law and theories provide values and beliefs which are written as laws. Theories of crime depict a vivid picture of the psychological and sociological research as well as the various rules of law. Government rules, regulations and their reactions to crime are also incorporated.
