I Have An Ingrown Infected Hair, Would Cephalexin Help This Problem?

I need to know if this antibiotic will work on this problem

    The ingrown hair is a hair which curls back to itself and grow towards its follicles. This can be infected. The treatment usually starts after removal of the hair. Oral cephalexin can be effective, but it takes time to reach hair follicle. Also use some topical antibiotic like Ployfax.

      Yes, but I would call my Dr. Just to let him know that you are taking it and why. He/She may have suggestions on how much to take, or other advice which could be helpful.
