Why Are Quiz Questions With Phone-ins So Easy?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

This is simple.  Difficult questions do not create or generate the necessary pound sterling amount to afford the cost of the call service and the prize.  They must make that money back, plus more for it to be worth doing it, so they do it to make sure that they can get all of their money.  it's pure greed.  If they had hard questions, fewer people would get through and therefore smart would win prizes.

Instead, they create stupid questions with obvious answers, or if they deem the question even slightly hard, they have the presenter hint at it strongly or even say the answer in a coded or frankly uncoded way.  Getting the callers to call is the only important aspect of this.

This is an insult to the intelligence of people calling in. Instead, it might as well just be a phone in raffle, you call in and you see if you get through, that's all it is, a telephone lottery.
