Cartagena is a city in Colombia, a country situated in the South American continent. It is very well known for its beauty and is considered as a very fascinating and magical place. It is listed in the UNESCO world heritage sites. Spanish conquerors discovered and founded this city and used it as a significant port for trade and commerce.
Cartagena faces the Caribbean Sea and is based along the northern coast of Colombia. It is a very popular tourist destination and has lot to offer its visitors like exotic homes, attractive plazas, beautiful waterfronts and other such places of public interest. The two most sought after places in Cartagena are the walled city and Bocagrande. It is best to know this city by foot and explore it at a leisurely pace.
