I had to have a testis removed a month ago, due to a botched hernia repair in the same year. According to all the doctors and all the research I've done; there's not much of a difference in the physical functions of that which makes a man. I've been told and have read that the remaining testicle compensates in both quantity of sperm and secretion testosterone. I did experience significant depression a few weeks after the simple orchiectomy, but it has now been tapering off.
