Should A 9 Year Old Get A Cellphone?
Well my sister is 9 and she wants a cellphone at least the firefly ones. But my parents say no what do think she thinks she should get one. I think so too. agree with me?

No,they shouldn't.I'm 13. I still don't have a cellphone. When i was 9. I didn't need a cellphone.my mom always knew where i was at
I am not sure what the firefly kind is and if it is what I am about to tell you about sorry. T here is a phone w/ 4 pre-programmed buttons and 911. It only has 1234 and that's all you can call. This could be useful in the case of an emergency, however why would the child ever be put in the situation without an adult around?

She could be kidnapped or something. When she is walking home from school there could be a sudden storm that hits.
Well, if she is at the age where she is going out with her mates, then i think she should. To think if she was in danger or hurt, you and your family would have no idea! If she doesn't go out with her mates, wait until she does.

Absolutely NOT. A nine year old does not need to have a cell phone. I agree with other comments, they are not responsible enough. They're going to act cool with a phone and just end up abusing it.

No, I dont think so. There is no reason for a 3rd or 4th grader to have a cell. I dont get one till this summer or fall when im going to middle school.

I think a 9-year-old NEEDS a cell phone.
Cell phones:

- Help if your lost
That's why I've have a cell phone since I was 8 years old
