When we sit or stand in the sun, without doing any work and physical activity, our body start sweating. The reason of this sweating is that our body becomes warm and to make the body cool and keep its temperature moderate, it starts sweating. Sweating is the mechanism which keeps our body cool. www.faqs.org

Sweating is a way of keeping our body temperature normal, it regulates body temperature and evaporation of sweat from our body helps us to protect our bodies from hot environment, we are constantly sweating even though we may notice it..sweat is made in response to nerve stimulation or hot air temperature, if we are standing still under sun, our nerves get stimulated because of hot temperature..this stimulates sweat glands and sweat is produced, but if the atmosphere around us is humid then it already has water vapour in it that's why when sweat evaporates it does not cool down our bodies because air around ur cannot take anymore water vapour.
